SUE DAVIES

Sue is our Head Coach and is an LTA Level 4 Coach

Sue has been a member of Heswall since the age of 11.

Sue has been involved in Cheshire Junior County Training.

Coaches groups, individuals and specialises in new players to the game.

Past tutor for the LTA and the girls MIss Hits programme.

Sue's passion is to encourage more girls to play and stay in tennis.

ANDY WILKINSON

Andy is our LTA Level 5 Master Performance Coach.

Andy has been a member of Heswall for over 30 years.

Andy has worked for the LTA training British National players.

His extensive experience includes heading G.B training camps in Barcelona and travelling internationally with G. B. players Jack Draper and Emma Radacanu.

As well as being part of the coaching team at Heswall,  Andy is a Cheshire County Performance Coach.

OWEN KIRKHAM  

Owen is our Level 3 coach.

Owen started playing and competing at Heswall as a junior member. 

Owen has been involved with in the training for Cheshire County and the Wirral Tennis Centre.

He coaches groups, individuals, at the club and local schools.

Owen works extensively with younger players who are now competing in teams and Cheshire tournaments.

All of our coaches have LTA Accredited+ status.  This accreditation is exclusively for LTA Level 3, 4, and 5 qualified coaches.

In addition to holding the required qualification, coaches must have a valid DBS check, up-to-date first aid training, and approved safeguarding training.

They must also complete a minimum of 15 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training per year.
